“Amazonas” is perhaps the summit of the excellent “Melodías Humanas”, the debut EP of Juan Carlos Eyzaguirre, a.k.a. Janaki, released during the second half of last year through Discos Pegaos label. A track summarizing his tremendous skills as a producer, in addition to revealing an enviable melodic instinct. It is now the turn of enshrined chilean producers, such as El Sueño de la Casa Propia and Fantasna, which masterfully reconstruct Janaki’s track, taking it to new places.

The result is inspiring. ESDLCP builds a muscular piece, full of glitches, cuts and samples, showing his brilliant ability to fuse melodies, rhythm and white noise. Fantasna meanwhile, moves with usual grace; his remix exudes depth, warmth on a refreshing and hypnotic house piece. Finally, Janaki closes this set of remixes, recreating his own track, this time by dipping into a cosmic arpeggiated fantasy, geting some really epic moments.
