In a zouk and dancehall key, the Chilean musician’s new work takes a step towards his consolidation in the Latin American club scene.

Reflective and heartrending is how Syntrovert describes his new EP “Amuleto”, released by the Chilean record label Discos Pegaos. In four songs, the artist demonstrates his permanent evolution, this since his first releases caught the attention of the global underground circuit and independent radio charts.

“Cuarzo”, “Loreto”, “Tumbas” and “Memorias” are the compositions where the musician navigates through spaces of introspection, where the emotional and the modern intersect in the midst of neo-urban sounds, even visiting Latin American folklore. A complex piece, but one that is capable of reaching an universal sound.

“Each track is built on an imaginary of reflective thoughts and heartbreaking emotions. I hope that this “Amuleto” serves to preserve a purpose and never lose will”, adds the artist, who is also part of the emerging netlabel WeTransa and the Martirio collective.

“Amuleto” becomes the successor of the works “The Gathering (DNTFCK 2019)” and “Sword (AGVA 2018)”, and becomes the first EP in communion with Discos Pegaos, a label that this year celebrated a decade of life.
