about

Extracted from Spiritual Stoner EP, “Barrial Zudakim” was the summary of all the virtues of Alpha Stronggah’s last year release. Their groundbreakin’sample articulation, mixed up with strong and sharped urban rhythms, still with some complex and personal character, set the boundaries for some of the last year’s more interesting releases. It’s on that way that we come back to this amazing track with three brand new versions, which make their own approach to it from very distinctive places, working this also as a preview of the new material that Baltazar Solar is preparing for a future release that we could possibly hear later this year.

On first version, we have FLYBVCK, venezuelan producer and founder of southamerican label Cocobass, who through his well-known mix of latin rhythms and fearless electronica, put the accent of his remix on the wild deepness of the original version, getting a extremely catchy breakbeat. The next remix is in charge of Alpha Stronggah himself, who with “Barrial Dubakim” makes a mainly dub-oriented exercise, that is resolved with the taste and classical cadence of the genre, and applied with some “Delay+Reverb” narcotic overdose. And at last, the prolific chilean producer Imaabs (Diamante Records), who edited two EPs and several remixes on 2012, transforms the original energy of BZ on a fierce vibe of ghetto house, a smooth hit for modern dancefloors.
