Vaskular (a.k.a Pablo Vasquez) has been pulling some really great tracks out there lately; Just take a look to Totem, his debut EP on Discos Pegaos label, to realize his strengths in sampling and melody making. But also, what is heard in later tracks like "Black Jesus" (Gasoline), "Jaime de Africa" (Pegamentos Vol.2) and "Meta" (Pegamentos Vol.3) reveals a strong capacity to get in, with ease and personality, on the language of modern club music. And it is precisely "Meta", the track included in the latest edition of the Pegamentos series, released by Discos Pegaos, the perfect excuse to meet again with the meticulous work of Vaskular, who this time builds two brand new versions of the title track, in addition to the including of some remixes signed by three very brilliant producers.

In Portamento mix, "Meta" is invaded by the subtle melancholy of a synth pad, while Portamento Tool focuses directly on the rhythm and the dissonance, being both powerful readings of the greatness of the original track. To complete this work, we can hear the brilliant lo-fi translation of the chilean producer VNZO, the mesmerizing exercise of the colombian Sano (Cómeme), and the very interesting techno reconstruction made by the slovenian producer Christian Kroupa a.k.a. Alleged Witches.
