Alpha Stronggah is one of the projects of Baltazar Solar, also known in the Santiago scene as Tecla de Oro (Golden Key), a member of Gang Gargs collective and a regular for several years at parties with a strong urban flavor.

Baltazar musical spectrum is broad. A story that began influenced by reggae beats germinated in productions for friends rhymesters loaded with samples and drum-snare giving birth to the pseudonym Tecla de Oro, a shape that soon mutated into Latin and dance rhythms, and with which he began to perform at parties showing his productions.

Within this context and as a response to a cruder concern, Alpha Stronggah is born, a project creator of a world and a language where percussions are twisted and synthesizers are infected with unprejudiced modernity, building a unique collage with references to Rasta culture and the most street rap, and away from its more uptempo vein.

“Barrial Zudakim” is a clear example of what can be found in “Spiritual Stoner” fat beats mixed with bursts of sampling multicultural and urban tension. Alpha Stronggah (Baltazar Solar / Tecla de Oro) a name to keep in mind this year
