Pablo Vasquez, producer and DJ known by his alias Vaskular, returns to Discos Pegaos in 2021 with a sneak peak of the material he has been working on in recent years. This premiere is called “Radar”, a single broken down into two versions (Piano Mix and Original), both reflecting the state of mind that invades the world in these strange times. Built up from a rarefied atmosphere of tension, Vaskular simmers his characteristic analogic raw rhythms, which conclude in a series of layers and frequencies typical of this hypnotic and vibrant work.

As the Piano Mix appeals to the prominence of a haunting piano, skillfully decomposing the structures of the original and taking it to new places, the initial track version emerges from a sample that speculates on the identity conflicts of the modern world.

“Radar” operates as a reconnection with Vaskular’s gritty kick-and-snare sound and as a revival of his background, as well as opening the door for future material by him on the label.
